Monsters Unreel Presents: Ash vs. the Unreeled — Evil Dead 2!
We’re letting Michigan mischief take the wheel this November—and trust us, it’s gonna get bloody hilarious.
This time, we’re firing up the chainsaw for Evil Dead 2 (1987) — the over-the-top, splatter-slapstick classic cooked up by a crew of local Michigan weirdos led by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. Sure, it was filmed down in Wadesboro, North Carolina, but this demented delight bleeds pure Michigan creativity. Expect screaming demons, possessed furniture, and one-liners sharp enough to carve through a Deadite.
Join us for our Meet ’N Eat with Oakwood Proper Burgers around 6 PM to grab food before the kitchen closes at 7 PM — then bring your grub over to Tank Space’s Lunar Lounge to chat all things horror, handmade FX, and cabin-in-the-woods chaos. We’ll press play around 7 PM, and let the mayhem (and laughter) ensue.
