My New Years Resolution Is to actually post here more..
Hey folks!
Sorry, it's been pretty dead around here. Life has been hectic, and then the holidays came in screaming, but finally the dust is settling, and stuff is in the works! My intentions for these groups were to try to make them like a local forum for nerdy stuff, with various channels, since social media continues to turn into more of a cesspool.
We've got the next indoor market in the works, and once I hear back from the spot, I'll post more details.
This year, we'd really like to put more focus on the community-building efforts of the market and try to come up with more meetups for fun nerdy stuff to do this winter.
SO far, the plans are:
Retro Gaming Night
Hobby Hangout
VHS Swapmeet
Sip and Paint Miniature Night
And we've recently started to have weekly Commander nights at Tank Space on Tuesdays.
If anyone has any other recommendations for some events we could host, please share below, and we'll see what we can put together.
I am down for any of those, sounds good. Not sure if this group is interested, but Michigan is Dead at Static Tape in Muskegon is happening in March, curious if anyone else is going.
