Markets and Monsters, Oh My!

We've been super busy the last few months, especially with the holidays. We'd like to thank Mac from the Cherry Capital Comic Con crew for coming to shoot some pics.

This market was by far the busiest market we've had to date and the vendors I spoke with all agreed. Right Brain Brewery was such a cool venue with a great vibe, in between shopping, folks snagged one of RBBs 31 beers on tap, played pinball, and ate grub from Moe's Better Burger. We filled up a massive box with toys to help out Project Feed The Kids and their toy drive.

Our next market is around the corner!

Our Next market will be hosted again by Right Brain Brewery, except we will be pulling an all-day market that ends at 10 pm. Vendor spots are filled! For those who missed out, fret not, our Spring market is already in the works and that ought to open up more spots with being outside. Most of our previous vendors will be showing up, so if you regretted not grabbing that cool VHS, here's your chance. We've also welcomed a handful of new vendors who will be posting up with us for the first time.

We've been pretty busy behind the scenes working on some fun and exciting community-building clubs and events. Someone had mentioned that TC has many lil sub nerd groups around town, but they aren't all aware of each other and we'd like to try and remedy that, by being a central hub and working on adding various groups and meet-ups to our official "Groups" lineup.

Facebook is filled with AI-generated posts that manipulate our own biases based on an algorithm, we figured it could be nice to step out of it and just have an area with your local community and neighbors who are passionate about the same things to have a spot to geek out together.

The first of our clubs we'll be getting off the ground is Monsters Unreel- a monster movie club- that will hopefully meet up monthly to relive watching some cult classic monster flicks or fill in some campy horror blind spots your parents let you down with.

Our first meet-up will be on January 30th at Oakwood Burgers inside their cool lounge area. Show up at 6 pm for burgers and drinks and a lil meet and greet to get to know our fellow "monster kids" who grew up in the 80s and 90s and let's welcome in those who will experience some of these movies for the first time. Spots for the meet-up will be limited due to space restrictions so, please RSVP to save your spots!
